This thesis work was born thanks to the participation in the the Informal City Design Studio, a research laboratory about the informal city and in the iRec Student Competition 2019, an architectural competition focusing on the resistance to the creation of the risk of catastrophes in natural and human systems. Considering not a natural system as scenario, but a human system, we have chosen the "Vasto" as object of study. Following an exploration phase and the definition of a general cooperation strategy, thanks to  which a number of selected buildings (hubs) are activated through interchange networks, we choose to focus the study on a particular hub (Hub 8), which will sets as an example for the activation of all the others. A this point we define the strategy we adopt for the selected HUB: Temporiuso, which aims to reuse spaces by giving them temporary functions; the interventions on the buildings are divided into 3 levels and all the buildings will cross each level up to a hypothetical final configuration, just one example among the infinite
possibilities. The resulting final projects on the one hand the final result of the strategy, conceived and designed to create synergies between the stakeholders and all the functions available, on the other handit's the trigger, it's the element capable of igniting the strategy: it's not simply a question of using spaces, but of activating NON-random transformations aimed atturning the place into a symbol, an icon. The project becomes a goal, the terminal, the final goal that I put before and to which I tend in the implementation of the strategy, one of the infinite possible configurations and a model that can be pursued in all the other hubs.
