The Design Laboratory for Habitat Sustainability [2022] is conducted by proff. K. Fabbricatti and P. Scala at University of Naples Federico II, Department of Architecture, Co.De. degree program. The Laboratory aims at introduing the theme of the collective space, place in_between private space and public space. Unlike the first, which "belongs" to a specific subject, and the second, which is generic to all, the "collective" space is understood as the "place" where specific groups and communities can recognize themselves. The Laboratory focus on making students able to instruct a process that starts from the reading and identification of the material and immaterial relationships that builds a place. The aim is learning how recognize and build the project reasons behind the formulation of a possible answer.
